I don’t know about you, but the news is driving me nutty! 😵 The same stories on repeat every hour, and don’t get me started about covid….
But the world still exists beyond our shores, and what worries me is I think a lot of people have forgotten there are other countries out there, and other problems than just Corona.
So to tackle this, I’m putting together a few alternative news stories – some good, some bad – so we can be reminded of lives beyond the British shores!

Lego is taking a stand on their environmental impact. They’re are investing money to replace their plastic bags and trial “biobricks” – made from sugar cane.
This comes after much criticism, since a Lego brick can take 1,300 years to break down.

India is in the middle of social unrest. The caste system – based on your family and wealth – seems very much real for rural towns and villages. But the severity of it has extended as far as the death of a young girl after being attacked by upper caste boys. Political corruption and cover-ups have ensued, but will these towns go quietly? Should this sort of prejudice still exist in the 21st Century…
